Empresa Folha Purchases Jazbox For Brazilian Media Properties

 

Brazil’s Largest Daily Newspaper Will Be Among The Titles Installing Jazbox System

 

ANN ARBOR, MI (April 13, 2009) -- MediaSpan announced today it has reached an agreement with Empresa Folha da Manhă S/A for the purchase and installation of a Jazbox editorial system at its Grupo Folha media properties in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  

 

More than 500 seats of the Jazbox system will be deployed at Folha de S.Paulo, the largest circulation daily newspaper in Brazil; Agora, a second daily newspaper in Sao Paulo area and several regional magazines produced by Grupo Folha.  

 

“We had a many requirements for a new editorial system and Jazbox fulfills them all,” said Adalberto Fernandes, Operations Executive Director of Grupo Folha. “Not only is Jazbox flexible enough to handle our multiple publications in a central server, it contains tools to help us with budgeting and managing the streaming of our content to our web properties.

Jazbox, currently in use at many major newspapers world-wide.
